Jennifer Aniston: That's the way they have never experienced their fans
Actress Jennifer Aniston (49, "Friends") proposes new sounds. With her new movie "Dumplin '", the 49-year-old has gone on new territory. Not only does Aniston play one of the lead roles in this, she was also in the recording studio to help with the soundtrack. What is Dumplin about?
The film "Dumplin '" is based on the eponymous book by author Julie Murphy (33). The story was inspired by some of Dolly Parton's hits. Jennifer Aniston also serves as producer and has brought Parton on board for the project.
The story revolves around the chubby teen Willowdean Dickson (Danielle Macdonald). She is the daughter of former beauty queen Rosie Dickson (Jennifer Aniston), who nicknamed her Dumplin '. Dumplin 'does not fulfill her mother's ideals of beauty and logs in protest at her traditional beauty contest. With that she starts a veritable avalanche. Both the beauty contest and her Texas hometown are facing a revolution.
Directed by Anne Fletcher (52, "Self is the Bride"). Other roles have been taken by Odeya Rush, Dove Cameron and Luke Benward. The comedy will be released on December 7, 2018 at the streaming service Netflix.
