Jeans print - polka dots for a good mood

Points make me happy, especially blue. Maybe this is a remnant of the "Sams" books and you can ask for something with every blue dot? Apart from that, I like eye-catching jeans. Whether they have a bright color or are exceptionally cut, pants may like to attract my attention. I do not have jeans with polka dots in my collection yet - so it's time!

We need that:

For the jeans with dots we need a pair of trousers, fabric paint from the glass and a pencil with eraser at the end of the pencil. The idea with the eraser as a stamp we took up on Rachel's blog The Crafted Life.

That's how it's done:

The end of the pencil with eraser we use as a stamp. Carefully dip into the paint and then press on the jeans. The points are distributed according to your mood. Wait for the trousers to turn until the front has dried well.

Depending on the fabric color, we still have to iron the pants on the left to fix the dots.

That's how it looks:

The stamping of the dots takes about 20-30 minutes in total - a fast DIY project that turns old jeans into new favorite pieces. If you would like to stamp a different pattern, cut out of a transparent film, for example, hearts, stars, diamonds, etc. and use it as a template. The color is then applied with a sponge. Caution: Stencils smear the color on the edge a bit. Here it helps to wipe the original again and again with a cloth.
