You need this:

200 cm patterned fabric (140 cm wide), 200 cm plain cotton fabric as lining (140 cm wide), 1 color matching plastic zipper (100 cm long), about 100 liters pea-sized polystyrene beads, z. From Novapor, matching sewing thread.

that's how it works

  • Cut out two 100 x 100 cm squares out of the two fabrics and nibble them all around with zigzag stitch.
  • Turn each side of the patterned fabric squares 0.5 cm and stitch in the zipper (Fig. 1). Open the zipper and place the fabrics right to the right. Then stitch together the two sides that are not opposite the zipper (picture 2). Turn the cover through the opened zipper.
  • For the lining, place the two plain cotton fabrics right to the right, stitching together three sides. On the fourth side leave an opening of about 20 cm, turn the cover through the opening.
  • Fill the bag with polystyrene balls and close the opening by hand.
  • Insert the filled food bag through the open side of the patterned beanbag cover (Fig. 3) and sew the side together (Fig. 4).
  • To wash the cover, the styrofoam filling bag can be easily removed through the zipper.
