Important callback! Sausage at Rewe and Penny contaminated

The Großmetzgerei Wilhelm Brandenburg recalls several contaminated sausage products that were sold almost all over Germany at Rewe and Penny. The reason for this is a possible contamination with cleaning fluid.

The recall affects 14 out of 16 federal states, the Rewe Group announced. Only Schleswig-Holstein and the Saarland do not count.

Which products are being recalled?

  • Wilhelm Brandenburg beer ham 100 g (best before date 25.10. 2017 to 06.11.2017),
  • Wilhelm Brandenburg hunting sausage 100 g, best before date 27.10. 2017 to 06.11.2017),
