"Bathing with your child is not pedophile!"

Is it normal for children to see their parents naked? Or even bathe with them? The Dane Torben Chris thinks: Sure, it goes without saying! To clarify his position, he posted this photo of himself on Facebook: Torben bathing with his two-year-old daughter.

As expected, the reactions to the picture were extremely contradictory. On the one hand, thousands of parents congratulated Torben on the picture and reiterated his statement.

On the other hand, there were many furious comments that did not directly accuse the father of abuse, but nevertheless insinuated that he was causing great harm to his daughter.

Naked in front of the child: no cause for hysteria!

"Who tells you that your daughter wants to see you like that? The poor kid !!!"

What Torben himself said about the excitement surrounding the picture, and how Facebook dealt with the picture, you see in the video above!

One thing is clear: The question of whether it is okay for children to see their own parents naked is a real uproar for many people.

Sensitivity varies from country to country and culturally. Not without reason came much criticism from the US. But even in one and the same culture obviously different "rules" apply to dealing with nudity.

Of course, it has absolutely nothing to do with abuse when parents wash their children. Or, as Torben puts it: "If a father cleans his child's vagina or butt, there's nothing wrong with that - quite the opposite: it's disgusting when nobody cares, and unfair if left to the mother alone! "
