Guido at the beginning of our Curvy Week: "Even a broad hip can wobble wonderfully!"

Dear women, dear dears, love everlasting girls, love tall slim, love small round, love too thin hair, dear manes, love eternally sporty, love sociable and cozily, dear shy, dear brave, dear hyperactive, dear lethargic, always love to pale, always love too much tanning bed, love too short legs, love everything above, everything below, everything in the middle, love everywhere too much, love everywhere too little, and love perfect, because you also exist in this wonderful world! If we are one, then it is different!

Hallelujah, we would like to call there and yet it is always difficult for so many people to accept their own physiognomy and also to appreciate it. "Please do not take pictures of my legs, not from below, please only from left or right, please do not do this, please do not do that". We do not want bad photos, especially as we live in a time when pictures dominate all our lives. Some sometimes become their own paparazzi, though no one really cares if we just enjoy breakfast. The countless images intensify the focus on our form, our body and the supposed charisma of others. By constantly taking photos of ourselves, we keep seeing what may not be optimal.

Why is it so hard for us to appreciate each other?

What short legs can make that they are not very long, but it works quite well with them. If we were not to build a connection with them and acknowledge that they belong to us, and could not help a thought that says, "How nice that you exist, you work well, and I have always gotten anywhere ? " Bodypositivity? a new word for a pleasure that usually causes more problems than looking forward to the current state.

Why is it so hard to love and appreciate what is the way it is? Does it need a new term for a problem that? if we are honest? but has more in common with our environment than with their own feelings? Whoever is slim, beautiful and healthy will probably not waste any thought on what it would be like if things did not go on so well. Why, because beauty is as transient as the youth? And this experience comes only with the years. It is theoretically very easy to believe that a problem zone becomes the beloved zone of our body when we work hard. There are zones that can not be changed even with the most sophisticated training. Who does not have narrow calves and restraints from home, will not get the legs of Gigi Hadid even with sports. Maybe it does not need it either, because Kate Moss would probably be happy with her thin lint over the beautiful hair of Adele, but she probably has too much butt for her taste.

What fun would it be if normal people and their characters returned to fashion?

Anyone who wants to work as a model, somehow needs a harmonious figure, no matter what dress size. Who can sing beautifully, who is allowed to do everything! A differentiated attitude for common ideals of beauty exists in our society just as little as a chocolate without sugar, which also tastes good.

What fun would it be if normal people and their characters came back into fashion? There should be cabins in every city, where everyone can stop off for a short while and be admired by a friendly colleague. Appreciation to go. Once everything was viewed from the good side and found to be good. "You are a very beautiful woman, you are a blast, please do not go to sports anymore! Thank you, what can we be glad, a perfect metabolism, how nice that it gives you ..." Now I know that too Metabolism is not always just medically meant when it comes to getting something going. Fashion is a wonderful vehicle for anyone trying to make peace with their bodies. It also sometimes needs the textile support, some fashion, tube and potty products, a brush and a hairdresser who hopefully knows what he's doing ... and where!

Is not there also beauty that does not correspond to popular wishful thinking?

I have experienced so many trials in my life, in which a wide variety of women in lingerie stood in front of me and have repeatedly apologized for her body. How sad, how humiliating! I am sure that I did not even participate in this sad game. It always needs the support of others? and a friendly look and a positive remark has made every try on something good.

Ergo: There is certainly the perfect shape, period. But is it so important to be perfect? There are the bodies in which everything is wonderfully and harmoniously proportioned to each other, moreover, the people are still charming and witty, healthy and lively, rich and sought after, and they can buy fashion without ever having thought about it, if they too fit in. But is not there a beauty that does not conform to common wishful thinking? A wonderful individuality that has developed a strength from the alleged weaknesses?

It's so important to have a good time with you

A positive self-esteem is still the safest foundation for a good life. Who knows, if everything stays so wonderfully taut, the hair is always tight, the gait smooth and the most beautiful feet in the world do not develop hallux valgus? Every morning after a shower I try to touch everything on my body, thank the body lotion! Contact or an inventory. Well, everything is still there, everything needs a loving attention, I think then again and again. Unfortunately, life is degenerative and whoever feels that he is the one who changes, will not be in danger of losing contact with himself. That our environment screams hurray, when it gets to see our butt is relatively unlikely, unless we hang on a pool bar and earn our living with it.

It's so important to have a good time with you, regardless of whether our environment feels the same way. Outward appearances are also important, how could I argue differently as a designer? Anyone who has been blessed with a serious bust will know that a bra makes perfect sense. I always like to say: "The most democratic garment is the brassiere, it supports the big ones, optimizes the little ones and, moreover, keeps the masses together." That's what a human being should say!

It is the admiring looks of others, good words, loving touch, some fashion and cosmetics and above all respect. Each of us has the right to be as we are at the moment, every form and every ideal of beauty can only be judged by whether and how we can live it.

So: If all of us walk through our lives with good cheer and never forget that even a broad hip wobbles wonderfully!

Sincerely,

your Guido Maria Kretschmer
