The thieves wore jeans with a leather jacket and picked up their appointments in the Cadillac for a drive-in movie. The ladies, on the other hand, wanted to be as chic and sweet as Audrey Hepburn, who made the capri pants famous. Long past? If you want to bring a little '50s nostalgia into the present, this should not be missing the following parts in the wardrobe this season: short plate skirts or slim-cut pencil skirts. And capris and skinny jeans - these are especially chic to flat ballerinas. Those who prefer the sporty look should try it with polo shirts, college jackets, tank tops or cargos. Twin sets, blouses with puffed sleeves, dresses with ruffles and sophisticated corsages give your fifties outfit a romantic touch.
Which patterns are allowed?
Dots are the absolute must-have and make the look perfect - whether on blouses, ballerinas, bags, hair bands or scarves. Similarly, you can unabashedly pepita patterns, large vichy checks, stripes or floral ornaments wear.

Important fifties rule: The accessories must be perfectly matched. These are best used in pastel colors or in red (ideal for jeans). Especially elegant: gloves, handbags, scarves, pearl jewelery, narrow and wide belts, flat ballerina shoes made of fabric or lacquer as well as wide hair or braids. These beautify optimally re-announced ponytail and pony hairstyle.
