A cream for every problem: "I am a foster junkie"

The other day I visited my friend Anna, who had exactly two tubes in her bathroom shelf. A night and a day cream. That finished me. "Why do you have only two creams, where is the rest?", I asked her without a squeeze. "That's all you need, is not it?" She answered. Could you be serious? "Honestly, where did you hide the rest?" I said with a mild smile. Anna shook her head. Obviously she did not understand what I was talking about.

I have three body lotions and five hand creams alone. Add to that the four day creams (not including serums), which I tried and did not use because I think the next one will be even better. The night cream I use on warm days and the ones I use for colder. In addition, a foot cream, an eye cream and eight tubes Bepanthen cream. Ever since I discovered that it's sold in English supermarkets as a diaper for a third of the price it costs in pharmacies in Germany, I always provide a generous supply when traveling to the UK. The tubes are right next to my giant tube of zinc cream. It never hurts.

On my bedside table is really and without exception, not only one of these exported from England wound and healing ointments, but also a tin Nivea. You can finally use it for everything. If necessary, even for the feet or for quick hair styling. In my pockets must each have a hand cream, otherwise I get nervous, The same goes for the creamy lip balm in a pocket of each of my jackets. Is this pathological? No idea, for me it is normal.

A body lotion? I need at least three!

There is nothing worse for me than very dry skin. The itches, looks nasty and above all, does not have to be. With the right cream, the problem is finally resolved quickly. That's why I have one for each one. A body lotion, for example, for very dry areas with urea and one for the stomach and thigh, which tightens with Q10. And then of course the one that smells so wonderfully of lemon from Biotherm for the gray days. When I use them, I feel better. A similar principle applies to all other body parts, especially my hands.

I have, as I said, for virtually every problem a cream. But one thing remains: For my face I'm still looking for the optimum. It's easy today. I long for the crucible or tube that makes me supple. I do not just mean my skin. That's why I have to stop writing and go to the drugstore, perfumery or pharmacy (or even all three in a row)? and finally buy a new care again. This time it will be the right one.
