5 brilliant hairstyles for the bicycle helmet

Bicycle helmets are a must. Unfortunately helmets do not always look stylish, but safety is of course! How your hair looks great despite the helmet, we tell you here. These five hairstyles hold each jaunt

1.) The peasant's braid

A peasant plait on the side does not push under the helmet and does a good job. To do this, pull a deep side vertex and braid down from the base. A detailed guide to the loose peasant's braid can be found in our braiding hairstyle 1x1.

2.) Great for thin hair: the deep ponytail

So simple and the trend hairstyle of the hour: the deep ponytail! Our recommendation? Put on your helmet before you tie the deep ponytail. So you quickly realize where the rubber bandage is not pressing. Fix the braid with a little styling cream and ready!

3.) Two plaited braids

On a bike tour, two braided side braids look cool. If you have at least shoulder-length hair, you can imitate this hairstyle. To do this, draw a center parting and divide three equally sized strands on the right and left sides and braid loosely. Special braid lotions prevent frizz.

4.) Soft waves

For this hairstyle a thicker hair structure is an advantage. After all, the bike helmet does not exactly provide for voluminous hair. On the contrary, he flattens his hair. The hair should be unwashed so that the light waves in the hair still persist. To do so, massage a structuring styling cream into the lower third. Divide strands and screw on a hot curling iron. Do not forget volume hairspray!

5.) The sleek look

The simplest hairstyle that looks great with a helmet is a sleek sleek look. To do this, wash the hair in advance with an anti-frizz shampoo. Heat protection may not be missing! Using a straightener, work the completely dried hair strand by strand and pull it down from the roots to the tips. So-called "Fly Away Fix Sheets" such as Redken help against flying and static charged hair.
