Taylor Swift: She donates money to LGBT lobby group
US musician Taylor Swift (29, "reputation") has donated $ 113,000 to the Foundation of the Tennessee Equality Project (TEP). This made the grouping on Facebook public with a handwritten letter from the singer. "TED" acts as a lobby group for LGBT rights (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) and is based in the capital of the US federal state, Nashville. More recent in the debate, however, is a bill proposed by Republican politician John Ragan (70). It originally aimed to restrict transgender access to public restrooms and dressing rooms. These should be held liable when entering such facilities, provided that they do not correspond to the gender associated with their birth. According to NewsChannel 9, the transgender passages are no longer included in the legal text that was put to the vote yesterday. Democratic politician Mike Stewart (54) said, however, that the intention of the attack was still the same.
