Sarah Jessica Parker: "I'm not in a fight"

For years, they should not speak a word with each other and even during the filming of "Sex and the City" it should have cracked between Sarah Jessica Parker (53) and Kim Cattrall (62) neat. After Cattrall's brother was found dead in February of this year and Parker expressed her sympathy to her colleague via social media channels, the long-held controversy suddenly became public. Cattrall described her former "Sex and the City" colleague in an Instagram statement as a hypocrite and remembered how "cruel" the actress was to her.

In all that time, Parker had never uttered or lost a bad word. In an interview with "Extra", the 53-year-old spoke for the first time about the dispute, which she does not call such. "If anybody else calls this thing a bitch war ... I'm not in a fight," said Parker's response, as the journalist addresses her to the disagreements with Cattrall. "I never quarreled with Kim, so I do not have to send Kim any presents because I've never done anything, she felt very good at saying many things - that's the wonderful thing about a democracy - but I have no excuse 'cause it's not a kidding war, "she went on.

A third film failed because of Kim Cattrall

Despite everything, she was very grateful for the time they spent together and for all the work Cattrall put into the series. Still, Parker seems to be unenthusiastic about the fact that there was not another "Sex and the City" movie. Cattrall as the former "Samantha" actress was the only one to disagree with a third part. Negotiations for a film without its role did not exist. Still, "We went as far as we could, and in the end the studio said, 'No, we can not meet those demands.' We all signed except you, what do you want to do there?"
