Sam Smith: The musician makes a statement against body-shaming
Pop star Sam Smith (26, "Stay with me") is fed up with his own lean mind. Always have to pay attention to what you eat and constantly chase after the ideal that the Hollywood bubble dictates, rather than accepting yourself as you are. But that's the end of the singer now. He self-confidently published a shirtless image of himself on Instagram, making a bold statement against body-shaming - and his body.
The picture shows the Grammy winner at the top without a small belly and high rolled-up jeans on the beach. But the really special is the long statement next to the picture. "If I did a photo shoot in the past, it was just a T-shirt, and yet I was starving for weeks. [Yesterday] I decided to fight the shit. [..] I'll always lead the fight against the mirror, but this shoot was a step in the right direction ".
"I try not to change and unconditionally love those breasts and hips and curves that my mother and father did," Smith continues. Even his fans celebrate the musician for the statements, because whether star or not: one should feel good the way one is.
