Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan: Does Morocco's cuisine meet the royal taste?

The three-day trip to Morocco by Prince Harry (34) and Duchess Meghan (37) is coming to an end. But before it goes back in the evening for the royal couple in the direction of the English homeland, are on this Monday still some dates on the agenda. Horses are caressed, traditional Moroccan dishes are conjured and a lot of young artists and founders are met.

Morocco close up

The Monday morning starts for the royal couple animal. You will visit the Royal Equestrian Club in the Moroccan capital Rabat. Surely a pleasure for the 34-year-old prince, who likes to swing in the saddle for a round of polo. However, the horses that Harry and Meghan cuddle up with locally are not meant for riding. These are therapeutic animals that are used to treat children and adolescents with mental health problems. Harry and Meghan meet in Rabat affected and learn from them, which progress they make thanks to the time with the horses.

Then the wooden spoon is swung. Together with children from disadvantaged backgrounds and the national celebrity chef Moha, the expectant parents traditionally prepare Moroccan dishes - pancakes, from the Meghan-supported cookbook "Together: Our Community Cookbook", inclusive. Of course you can also try it afterwards. As pictures show on the official Twitter page of the Kensington Palace, Harry and Meghan can draw on the full.

Duty calls

Strengthened it continues for the two royals finally. In the Andalusian Gardens, between the fountains and the small watercourses, they meet young founders who fight against youth unemployment and support disadvantaged communities. Moroccan artists have also spread their goods in the park. They show Harry and Meghan traditional goods at the end of their official journey: from jewelery and bags to wooden bowls to elaborate metal works of art. One or the other keepsake can definitely be found here.
