Peter Dinklage: He loved macabre pranks on "Game of Thrones"

With all the intrigue and bloodlust in "Game of Thrones", there is often very little room for comedy in the cult series. Behind the scenes, however, it looked quite different, as Peter Dinklage (49, "Pixels"), one of the big stars of "GoT", now told in the late-night show by US presenter Jimmy Kimmel (50). Often the cast would have joked and played tricks on each other. Dinklage, who plays in the series Tyrion Lennister, was repeatedly the victim, but he also proved to be a joker.

To be dead is funny?

"I liked to kill myself, you know. It's funny," the actor said dryly. He shocked, among other things, the coat rack employees and the producers. Surprisingly, Kimmel could then explain that his mother did the same with him and his siblings when they were little. She had it through at that time until the children began to cry. Then his mother had to laugh.

Brutal prank

Especially brutal was a joke by Kit Harington (31, Jon Schnee), who on April 1, 2017, took his today's wife Rose Leslie (31, Ygritte) seriously on the grain. At the time, he deposited a replica of his own severed head in the commons apartment's fridge, which the Special Effects people of "Game of Thrones" had made for him.
