Mark Zuckerberg: Chat programs should be connected
Mark Zuckerberg (34) apparently wants to completely turn the chat opportunities within his Internet empire on its head. As is well known, Facebook also includes the apps Messenger, WhatsApp and Instagram, which however can not communicate with each other with their respective chat services. That should change now after a report of the "New York Times" soon. The end of 2019, the beginning of 2020 should be the reality.
An insider revealed to the newspaper that the exchange of messages should be standardized and end-to-end encrypted. However, all three services should continue to exist side by side. There is no question of hiring one of the chat programs. In a statement, Facebook said that "people want fast, simple, reliable and private messaging".
