US singer Lenny Kravitz (54, "Strut") had a very close relationship with his mother, who died in 1995, as he explains in an interview with the "Cosmopolitan" magazine. Through her he learned to appreciate women in particular. "Love, integrity and respect" she taught him. On his new album "Raise Vibration" he dedicated the song "Johnny Cash" to her, because it was the country star who had grabbed Kravitz at the airport and comforted him when the rock star received the tragic news of her death.
