Since 2011, Kit Harington (31) in "Game of Thrones" now embodies the main character Jon Snow. His long, curly hair, which became his trademark, and his full beard, were always present. However, this should be over after the end of the series. In an interview with "Entertainment Weekly", the actor now reports that he wants to undergo a complete style change - including short hair. "That role was brilliant, but I have to get rid of Jon Snow," Harington said.
He generally wants to show something less recognizable and do something different with a completely new look. When asked whether he already has a more precise hairstyle in mind, Harington just said: "short-short." It would be more difficult for him to part with his beard. Although he likes his hair on his face and also on his head, he still wants to say goodbye to it - also as a ritual to usher in a new era: "I can not go into my next role and look exactly the same."
