Kim Hnizdo: These must-haves must not be missing from her in autumn
No question, Kim Hnizdo (22) knows all about fashion. The "Germany's Next Top Model" winner of the eleventh season works successfully as a model and knows the current trends. Which must-haves Fashionistas should set in the fall now and where the 22-year-old likes to shop, reveals Hnizdo on the sidelines of the Dustmann Store opening in Dortmund.
Do you prefer to shop in the store or online?
Kim Hnizdo: If I know exactly what I'm looking for and it has to be done quickly, I like to order on the Internet. Personally, I think there are things you just can not order online. Of which you have to convince yourself beforehand by holding them in your hand or tried on, such. a pair of jeans or a dress for a special occasion - it just has to sit! And often the process of choosing and shopping is the most beautiful. That's why I indulged in a part of PreShopping at the Dustmann store that same evening.
What is currently your favorite part in the wardrobe?
Hnizdo: For the transition to fall I love my cozy oversized sweaters.
Have you ever had a really expensive designer part?
Hnizdo: Meanwhile I have some very high-quality It-Pieces. At that time, however, I saved a lot on my first expensive designer bag. When I finally bought it, I did not wear it until after weeks of watching.
How important is fashion for you? How would you describe your personal fashion style?
Hnizdo: Meanwhile, fashion has a high priority for me. Not just because I work in the industry, but rather because of the message behind it. Fashion is a way to express yourself. Therefore, it sometimes happens that I dress completely differently on some days. Depending on your mood, mood, but of course also on the occasion and season.
Who do you ask for advice when it comes to fashion?
Hnizdo: In my job as a model, I often work with fashion experts, whom I always like to ask for their opinion on different styles / trends / outfits. Ultimately, however, I choose what feels right to me. Also a great advantage when shopping in retail - here, a competent advice is particularly important to me.
Do you have fashion role models?
Hnizdo: For me, women who realize themselves through fashion, emphasize their own personality and do not run after any given trends, are fashion role models for me.
What is an absolute fashion no-go for you?
Hnizdo: Poor copying of trends or hiding behind something because others might like it.
What was your own worst fashion sin?
Hnizdo: I think in the time when I started to make up my face as a teenager, I also committed my worst fashion sins.
Which autumn trends are not enough for fashionistas?
Hnizdo: Coats and boots are absolute must-haves for autumn.
