Jennifer Aniston: Happy as never before
Jennifer Aniston is ... happy? Can not be! Anyone who has read their name in the last 20 years, knew after a few seconds: This is this pitiful woman who has always bad luck in love, and somehow everything goes wrong. Divorce from (sigh) Brad Pitt! Affair and re-separation with felt a hundred other celebrities (press speculation times included). And not even a real movie hit! You could not say "ohhh, my arms!" - shouting.
In truth, of course, that's all nonsense, as Aniston confirms in an interview with the magazine "Harper's Bazaar": Not only is she doing extremely well. She even finds that her life has never been better than she was in her mid-40s - an age when actresses are supposed to be "professionally worried".
Jennifer calmly says, "When should I start with panic, should I say 'Ouch, my knee' and stuff like that? I feel our idea of aging needs to be readjusted." And adds, "I've had more fun than ever since I turned 40. Professional, physical and mental."
Her relationship with fellow actor Justin Theroux is also rock-solid: "It was good to get to a point where I was happy with myself again, where I could get back on love and a partner If you can stand 70 percent, then you will be perceived and treated like that, then you fill up the missing 30 percent, and suddenly there is this pure, great love in front of you and then you realize: Oh, that can easily happen! "
The optimism also pays off for work: besides a continuation of the comedy "Horrible Bosses" Jennifer has taken the risk to be unadorned in the drama "Cake", which will be released in the next year, with artificial scars and greasy hair to play mental problems. "I would not have dared to do that five or ten years ago," says Aniston. "But then I thought to myself: Just take the challenge!"
The test of courage was worth it: "Cake" was celebrated at the Toronto Film Festival with Standing Ovations as the best Aniston Perormance of all time - and the word "Oscar" falls in strikingly many reviews.
