Jürgen Drews: "The King of Mallorca" is back on stage

Beautiful news from the self-proclaimed "King of Mallorca": The hit star Jürgen Drews (73) is back on stage after his severe gastrointestinal infection. On Saturday, Drews again played his first concert in Dortmund after his hospital stay in front of about 17,000 in the Wierlingen district park. Talking to Bild am Sonntag, Drews said, "I had very weak knees - Ramona told me to take a chair upstairs."

Of course, he did not need that. He had eaten a chop before the performance, to strengthen. Actually, the doctors had ordered him two weeks rest, but he had not kept it. His wife, Ramona, told the newspaper, "It's not that easy to get off stage - it's going to be depressing." Only a trip around the world could distract him.
