You've played with Veronica Ferres quite a lot already. Is there a reunion or something you both do on the set?
Heiner Lauterbach: No, not really. Veronica is my jewel, based on our joint film "Under German Beds" (2017), and so I welcome them too. Bussi and that's it.
When you both meet on public occasions, you feel like it's a real actor friendship.
Lauterbach: That's what you can say. More or less intense we have been friends since the movie "Das Superweib" (1996).
Are there many really good friendships in show business?
Lauterbach: No, really good friendships are not so much in show business. You do not have so many real friends in life anyway.
Do you separate professional and private life or do you sometimes feel that you are doing something together with your family?
Lauterbach: Of course. Basically you should separate work and home, but with Veronica we do things together every now and then. We were already on vacation together.
In "Inseparable to Verona" is also about letting go of teenage children. You should know that. How scared of it? Is there a trick that makes it a little easier?
Lauterbach: We are not scared of it. This is the life that the children will one day go out of the house. The main thing is that you maintain good contact with the children and trust them.
Some scenes are playing in the Arena of Verona ... Have you ever had a concert there? Top or flop?
Lauterbach: Yes, I have been to the arena at a classical concert. Beautiful!
