Gwyneth Paltrow: Her half-knowledge now costs her a lot of money

The online lifestyle magazine "Goop" by Gwyneth Paltrow (45, "The Royal Tenenbaums") not only has entertaining advice in store. Also products, which are to promote the physical and spiritual development, are presented there. But with a product, the actress now seems to have laid an egg herself.

Scientifically unfounded

In a contribution, the actress made vaginal eggs of jade and quartz stone on the subject. The polished stones in egg shape are said to contribute to the strengthening of the pelvic floor muscles and thus increase the intensity of orgasms.

Paltrow had also written on her side, however, that the eggs could also regulate the female cycle and resolve bladder weakness. However, there is no scientific evidence supporting these assumptions, which is why clients have now sued the actress at the California Consumer Protection Agency. It will not come to a negotiation. Paltrow's company "Goop" was able to settle out of court with the indignant readers and pay them a compensation of 145,000 US dollars (about 125,000 euros). This reports, among other things, the "New York Times".
