Golden Milk: Why is everyone drinking that nasty yellow broth now?

Yes, I know, there is no dispute about taste. I do not want to. It is absolutely undisputed that a so-called Golden Milk is certainly very healthy. It should promote digestion and regulate metabolism. For centuries turmeric, which is in the magic magic liquid, used in the Ayurvedic healing arts. It is said to have an anti-inflammatory effect, brighten teeth, counteract arthritis, cancer and Alzheimer's. In addition, you can make the whole thing wonderful home even. There is virtually no argument against the expressive Trendgesöff. Apart from the taste, I would say.

Golden Milk? Pee should also be very healthy

About stink normal milk can be discussed very well. On the other hand, everyone can agree on Golden Milk. The name alone takes this drink to other levels. What sounds like precious metal must also be valuable. Or? At least I have the impression that everyone loves this golden, super-healthy, totally hip trend soup with turmeric, ginger and coconut oil. Just not me.

Apart from the fact that the name "Golden Milk" reminds me somehow of other not too appetizing liquids, this hipster soup just does not taste good to me. Too intense, too yellow, too much turmeric. And I ask myself: Is that really only me? The fact that the whole thing tastes like a long-cooked ginger roll and has similarity with slimy urine, but not only I noticed? Whereby pee should also be very healthy.

It's not the Golden Milk

It's my fault. By the way, I wanted to give the whole thing a chance. I tried. Really. Can not be so bad if everyone likes it, I thought. There must be something to it. That's why I ordered a really nice, extremely yellow, trendy "Golden Milk" in a café. I felt very healthy, somehow much hipper than usual, yes, I felt almost adventurous. Otherwise, I always drink only coffee or juice spritzer or beer - which is not original.

In fact, I decided to love this new magic milk. Already on principle. It would have been so wonderful. And so totally "healthy". Unfortunately, I found her disgusting. Since then I feel very alone. It's not up to her, it's up to me. I am sure about that. I can not change it anyway. That's why I'll just wait and see what the next trend will bring? and prefer to drink tea until then.
