George Clooney: That's what Tom Cruise says about the scooter crash
George Clooney (57, "A World Beyond") just had an accident with his scooter in Italy. Of course, this also moves Hollywood: At the premiere of "Mission: Impossible - Fallout" in Paris, Tom Cruise (56), also a motorcycle fan, addressed a few nice words to Clooney.
On the red carpet, Cruise joked initially to "Access" in the direction of Clooney that he had to be "careful". But then the 56-year-old became serious and wished his colleague a speedy recovery: "He's great on the bike and I hope he's fine." Until he arrived in Paris, he did not hear about the accident, Cruise explained, "but I hope you're fine buddy."
But with the "Top Gun" star himself, the accident does not lead to rethinking: "Never, no, never" will he give up motorcycling: "The motorcycle will send me to retirement, I will never give up the bike." Clooney had collided with a Mercedes on Tuesday, flying over the handlebar of his scooter onto the bonnet of the car. But he was lucky in bad luck and came away with grazes and a shock. Clooney was shooting for the series "Catch 22" in Sardinia, but at the time of the accident were already completed.
