Fleetwood Mac: Ex-guitarist Lindsey Buckingham sues the cult band

In January of this year, longtime Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham (69) was surprisingly thrown out of the cult group ("Rumors"). The 69-year-old has filed a lawsuit against this decision of the remaining band members, reports the page "Rolling Stone". The application contains, inter alia, the allegation of breach of contract and breach of the duty of trustee. This is evident from a document that was leaked to the page.

Buckingham has been deliberately financially harmed with the expulsion, the scolded guitarist is also sure. For the first time, the alleged reason for the sacking is discussed. The band had been eager to start their world tour in August of this year, while Buckingham was the only one who pleaded for November - so he could go on tour with his fresh solo record. A short time later, he was then already replaced by Mike Campbell and Neil Finn as guitarist of the said tour.

Fleetwood was founded in 1967. Buckingham first belonged to the tribe occupation from 1975 to 1987, before he left the group for about ten years. From 1997 he was then until his sudden expulsion this year again the regular guitarist.
