Fast and hearty: Toast Bavaria

6 pieces:

- 1 packet of bread dumplings (or 6 slices of whole wheat toast) - 200 g of sauerkraut (glass or preserves) - 100 g of thin bacon or bacon - 6 slices of Scheibletten cheese or Gouda salt, freshly ground pepper

1. Prepare the dumplings according to the package instructions. Cut the dumplings crosswise, press lightly.

2. Slice sauerkraut, season with salt and pepper. Put the sauerkraut and bacon on the dumplings, put a piece of cheese on top of each. (If there are no dumplings, put sauerkraut, bacon and cheese on slices of toast.)



3. Bake in preheated oven at 200 degrees (convection: 180 degrees, gas: stage 4) for approx. 15 minutes and serve immediately.
