How happy are the Germans actually? The market research institute mafo.de has published a new study. At the beginning of the year, 1075 people were interviewed about their personal situation. The result: Around 75 percent are satisfied with their lives. Sounds good, does not it?

Yes, but that unfortunately means that 25 percent are unhappy. Considering that every fourth German is, there are already many unhappy people out there!

At this age you are the most unhappy

It is striking that the 31-45 year olds are the most unhappy. One interpretation: Family planning is associated with a lot of stress. Especially women who want to reconcile their child and career bear a great burden on their shoulders - and are often unhappy in the end.
