Duel: skier against snowboarder
The duelists:

Nele: Skiing is oldschool and therefore more casual. Inga: Skiers are family fathers with three children in snowplough tow.
3. On the slopes
Nele: Skiers actually go down a slope. Snowboarders are snow-carvers and always in the way. Inga: Ski school groups have been created just to spoil snowboarders the hottest momentum.
4. The material
Nele: On ski trails ski poles help immensely. Never before has a skier tied to one foot hobbled to the next steeper slope section. Inga: Twice as exhausting with skis to climb a lonely summit than just with a board ballast.
5. In the lift
Nele: For a skier, a drag lift is not an insurmountable obstacle. Inga:Where should one actually go in the lift with sticks? Eyes of snowboarders seem to be a popular destination.
6. The difficulty level
Nele: Even as a beginner there is a realistic chance to get down the mountain. Inga:Everyone can ski.
7. The heroes
Nele: Ski stars are idols: Alberto Tomba, Markus Wasmeier, Hermann Maier? You really do not have to say that anymore. Inga: Boring - skiers love the pop stars, who love it all.
8. The coolness factor
Nele: Skiers are cooler because they are not snowboarders. Inga:Snowboarders are cooler because they are not skiers.
