Dragon Hair: So we braid our hair now
This clever braid does not only catch the eye of the Game of Thrones fans, as they are after all elaborately braided hairstyles used by the protagonists. But now you can find the Drachenzopf on Instagram and Pinterest. The name says it all: optically, the braid is reminiscent of the scales of a dragon.
With our tips and tricks, braiding beginners get the hairstyle, also known as Mohawk Hair. Because with our version of the Dragon Braid the braid is not braided properly.

Dragon Hair: And that's how we manage the hairstyle:
- Comb your hair back and untangle it with a coarse-grained comb. Specific Braid Lotions or Care Sprays Shape the hair and prepare it optimally for the next steps. The best way to style unwashed hair. Otherwise, the hairstyle can collapse quickly.
- Divide the upper hair and tie half a high braid and provide it with a thin or transparent rubber.
- Next, you basically repeat the first step and divide 2-3 cm of the hair directly below into a half-high ponytail.
- Now you divide the upper ponytail into two equal halves. Between these strands, the second ponytail is turned upwards and fastened with a clamp.
- Now, the two equal halves, which lie around the second braid, are wrapped with a rubber to a new braid.
- Repeat the second and third steps with the hair still underneath, underneath. Loosen the spare clip, divide the braid into two equally sized strands and loop the hair back in the same way as in the fifth step. You repeat that until the end.
- At the end, the remaining hair again provided with a hair elastic and loosen the loops that have now emerged. So the braid looks more voluminous and fuller. Fix with hairspray? finished!
