Crochet tea warmer yourself

You need this:

- wool - crochet hook in any size - teapot

Difficulty Level:

- Beginners to advanced

Pattern:

- Reliefstäbchen

That's how it's done:

  • The tea warmer, you can easily and individually crochet for each pot itself. So that the sheathing is also made to measure, first take up a number of air meshes corresponding to the circumference of the teapot, which can be divided by four. Close the first round and then crochet a round of sturdy stitches, followed by a round of whole chopsticks.
  • Now lay the thread for the first chopsticks in the new round around the crochet hook and instead of stabbing the stitches at the top, pick up the whole stick of the preliminary round. To do this, prick the needle from the front, lead it behind the stick and stick it out again. Then the stick is crocheted.
  • Do the same with the next stick. Then crochet the next two sticks as follows: Put the thread around the crochet hook and pick up the whole stick of the preliminary round by stabbing the needle from behind, leading it in front of the stick and sticking it out backwards. Then the stick is crocheted.
  • Working around so that a "2-right-2-left" pattern is created. For the grommet and grip hole, simply work from a certain height, depending on the existing teapot, no longer in rounds, but crochet the two sides separately in the pattern.
  • Finally, crochet a series of tight stitches again. The pattern of the teapot warmer is very elastic, so you can easily pull it over the pot.
