Crafting: The modern cuckoo clock

In craft shops, there are all kinds of kits for watches. This is a modern cuckoo clock: fast to tinker, but without acoustic cuckoo.

You need this:

- 1 quartz movement (make sure that it fits with the dial thickness!) - Pointer - cardboard or sponge rubber for the bird house (or plywood, if you want to make it very beautiful) - bird made of plywood or fiber board (either ready in the craft shop to buy Saw example with "color to idea" or even with the fretsaw) - possibly water color and brush - drill and drill - if necessary, chain and beads - Glue dots as numbers

On the next page: How to make the clock together

This is how it works:

Drill a hole for the pointers into the bird and paint it as you like.

To decorate the clockwork, paint a birdhouse on the cardboard, sponge or plywood and cut it out with scissors.

Attach cottage, bird and pointer to the clockwork according to the instructions in the kit.

Attach the clock to the wall with the drill and stick the adhesive dots as numbers directly to the wall.
