"I think I'll ask her to marry me?
George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin met in summer 2013 on Lake Como. The Hollywood star owns a villa there, the human rights lawyer was with a mutual friend in transit to Cannes.
Quickly, the two became a couple. In March 2014, George and Amal traveled to Kenya, because? Amal loves giraffes; it's her favorite animal, Clooney told the Hollywood Reporter. On his return to Los Angeles, he showed a photo of his lover to a friend, smiling at giraffes and saying, 'I think I'll ask her to marry me.'?
Amal had no idea what to expect

Clooney added that he had few serious concerns that Amal could say no. "My only doubt was that she thought it was too early," he recalls.
