Bono: Voice of the U2 singer fails in Berlin

The Irish rock band U2 ("Songs Of Experience") had to cancel their performance on Saturday night in Berlin. In a statement posted on U2's website, it says, "Tonight we're so sorry for the cancellation, Bono had a great shape before the show, was good at voting and we all looked forward to the second night in Berlin, but after a few songs he completely lost his voice. " In addition, Adam Clayton (58), Larry Mullen (56) and The Edge (57) explained to their 58-year-old frontman: "We do not know what happened and we seek medical advice."

U2 also hopes for an understanding of the audience and thanks "for the support of the fans in Berlin and those who have traveled from far away". On Twitter, where the statement was also published, there are already numerous recovery wishes to Bono: "Bono, all your fans love you," it says, or: "As long as you're fine, we can live with a demolished appearance Bono would have hugged there if possible, hoping he'll be back in great shape very soon. " Another fan writes, "Do not worry about us, we love you guys, and know you do not make such decisions lightly."

The U2 fansite "Atu2" said about the concert on Saturday night: "Bono said he was not sure what happened at the end of 'Red Flag Day'." He is also quoted as saying, "I think it's the smoke, I can promise you, I did not talk, but it's like a giant cigar - I lost my voice and I do not know what to do."
