Bold scam: consumer center warns of this chocolate Santa Claus!

Watch out in the supermarket! The consumer center warns of a new case of chocolate rip-off in the name of Santa Claus. Because as the consumer advocates reveal, Milka has not only missed his Santa Claus a new look - but also shrunk it violently!

Until last year, the Milka Santa still had a red coat on. Since this year, the chocolate-Santa is wearing purple. Just a new look? Not at all: The manufacturer has also screwed on the content. The Santas are now available with 175 grams, 100 grams or 50 grams of chocolate. The red Santa Claus, so far, where 210, 130, or 60 grams.

The consumer center has determined: The smaller chocolate Santa Claus are still sold at the same price - if a store has lowered the price, then only minimal. The result: The price for the Milka Santa Claus has risen by up to 20 percent - and without that most customers would have noticed something!

And what does Mondelez, the company behind Milka, say to the shrunken chocolate man? A spokesman wrote to the consumer center: "The design of consumer prices is solely in food retail - as a manufacturer, we have no influence."
