Kim Kardashian. Point, off. It is a miracle that you manage to look so bad with so much money. The woman shows too much skin. The fact that she proudly says that her husband Kanye has put together the styles shows only: He has no idea. Neither fashion nor women.
Everyone admires the style of the Danish Crown Princess Mary. What's right?
She dresses timelessly feminine and incredibly elegant and is the perfect ambassador for Danish designers. She mixes expensive brands with labels like H & M, so people can identify with her. And she knows how to dress for every occasion: classically, when she represents the Royals, privately she's more in bohemian looks.
Why are the Scandinavians always dressed so well?
I think because they enjoy fashion and that is their way of expressing themselves.
What makes the Scandinavian style? And why can not the Germans do it so well? Nobody wants to look like the Germans ...
Scandinavian Style is simple, minimalist, functional and with a lot of black. The Germans are getting better, that must be said. But I think Germans are more concerned about cars than their wardrobe. We Danes can not afford cars because the luxury tax is so high. So we prefer to buy clothes.
What makes good style for you?
People with style appreciate great colors, cuts and materials. They think outside the norm. They love flea markets. Their clothes are always a bit over the top and yet they all have a white T-shirt in the closet because it's the best basic ever.
Fashion is always shown on thin models. Is fashion really nicer when you're skinny?
Absolutely no way!!! I love curvy women. Is there anything more beautiful? Women with curves just need to learn to emphasize the beneficial zones.
And you do that how?
Wrap dresses like those of Diane von Furstenberg are perfect, emphasizing the cleavage and the waist. Or case dresses. They flatter every woman with curves. Just like Pencil Skirt and blouses with a low neckline. Pleated skirts are fantastic for kicking rider's pants.
And what attract women who are not curve stars?
They can do trickery to create curves: tops or jackets with puff sleeves make for wider shoulders, ruffles make more volume and short legs are best stretched with high heels and waisted pants or skirts.
What do you mean: which three parts should every woman own?
A well-fitting bra, a white T-shirt, a casual suit pants.
And what three parts should every woman throw into the bin?
That's easy: ballerinas, bags by Michael Kors and Uggs. They are so by.
On a subject, the fashionable spirits divorce: the sweatpants. What do you say: no-go or must-have?
Karl Lagerfeld once said that who wears sweatpants has lost the thread in his life. But in 2017 there is no way around the jogger. Models in sweatpants ran down the catwalk on all designer shows. Today, you do not just put them on to slobber on the sofa. You can just pimp them with high heels and make them suitable for the evening.
