After the death of her boyfriend: Model Miriam Höller thought of suicide

Höller had to cope with two strokes of fate last year: first Höller broke both feet during a stunt jump from the podium, then in September she lost the love of her life, the aerobatic pilot Hannes Arch (48), in a terrible helicopter accident. "I was completely lost," Höller later recalled the moment when fear became cruel certainty.

In a moving Facebook post, she admits now: "In the last few months, I've pretty much cowered, I've got myself in the trap and deliberately not asked public questions, which also answer when you do not know what you want, what you expect from yourself and your life, I have asked me: give up or continue? " Too big was the task that was put to her in life.

Meanwhile, however, she has decided to bite herself and continue to fight. When she looks back on that darkest time in her life today, she is shocked that she, who has always defined herself through her zest for life, courage and self-confidence, might even get to the point of not being able to cope with a situation. She writes:

"I want to come back, back to my job and with what I can and do, inspire other people."

And it seems Miriam Höller finds her way back to life: "My left foot is still not completely healed, the last surgery was five weeks ago, but I'm back now to prove to you, Hannes, and myself that despite all the rainfall, it's worth being a life-affirming person. "

We wish her a lot of strength and all the best!
