5 styling rules you can whistle on now

There are some unwritten laws in fashion that one should follow in order to be considered well dressed. They are recited to us again and again in fashion magazines, self-proclaimed style popes announce them in interviews and critical mothers, girlfriends colleague they rub one under your nose, if one violates the commandments once.

The beauty of such styling rules is that you can deliberately break them. In the fall of 2015 much is allowed, which would have to be frowned upon by the rules of supposedly good taste. The time of the big trends, as the fashion experts agree, is finally over. Instead, individuality and the staging of one's own character take center stage. And what would be better for this than a skilful rule break.

Bye, pensioner beige! Hello, Granny-Chic! Which colors, shapes, patterns and cuts are appropriate to our age, we decide now to whim whatever the year of birth. And so it happens that the celebrated new Gucci designer Alessandro Michele sent young women in omi-look for autumn and winter 2015 with a dangling blouse, double-breasted coat and tote bag on the catwalk. At the same time, the not so young American fashionista Baddie Winkle is celebrated as an Instagram phenomenon and loved for her crazy outfits.

Breeches must be so long that they almost touch the ground - since the seventies, this sentence is carved in stone. Now we are rewriting the fashion story! "Cropped Kick Flares" is the name given to the new flare pants that are currently on streetstyle pictures and bloggers like the Australian Shalini Papas. Looks surprisingly good - and makes the Seventies trend look a little more modern.

Without rollis nothing goes this fall. For decades, women with a big bosom have been told that they should bow to it. A high-necked top can also look great with a large bust - if the proportions are right. Incidentally, the curve expert Anna Scholz also finds.

Rule 4: In autumn, closed shoes are mandatory

Of course, ankle boots, Chelsea boots and sneakers are handy when it gets wet and muddy outside. However, the It shoe of the season does not care. At the sight of the fur-covered slip-on loafers from the Gucci Fall-Winter collection, fashion writers around the world get their breath away. No wonder he was spotted at numerous front-row feet at Fashion Week in New York. Whom the slipper look is too bizarre, may instead become familiar with the sock-in-sandals trend.

Rule 5: Less is more

Choose accessories with care, do not overload your outfit, put on a real highlight instead of many - yes, we also plead guilty to having preached these fashion bids.
