10 baby names that will soon become trend!

Of course, it is easy to retrospectively say which first names were in a particular vintage trend. But the Nameberry portal once looked at which baby names are getting a lot of attention from seeking parents right now, and compared the results with the previous year.

The result: 16 first names, which are becoming increasingly popular - but are still far from being so well-known that they can be heard on every playground.

7. "Calypso"

87 percent more popular than last year. It could not be more exotic: a first name, where one immediately thinks of a sunny climate and boisterous dancing. In fact, the name has roots in Greek mythology: "Calypso" was the nymph that Ulysses held for seven years. Almost like a child, until it is ready for school ...

8. "Zephyr"

78 percent more popular than last year. Again the ancient Greeks: "Zephyr" is the deity of the west wind. Also, as the female form "Zephyrine" more popular.

9. "Emperor"

75 percent more popular than last year. Some parents seem to have a hint of megalomania - or are giant fans of Beckenbauer. In any case, a trump card over other children who are treated by their parents like little princes.
