Udo Jürgens: His last appearance

"In the middle of life" was the title of his current CD and his European tour. And in the middle of his life he was torn to death. On December 21, Udo Jürgens died in a walk to heart failure.

Not only artistically, the eighty-year-old entertainer was still in the middle of life. Only in September, the ZDF celebrated the milestone birthday of the musician with a gala on the pop star Helene Fischer "Merci, Chérie" for him sang. On December 11th and 12th, Udo Jürgens sat at the piano for recordings of the "Helene Fischer Show" in Berlin. In a duet he sings with the hostess "What's important", solo Jürgens plays his song "My goal" from the current album. It says:

And I still want one hundred percent, Will want everything, wants to give everything. With upright walk, not fated, Not the wrong - I want the right life!

Thus, Udo Jürgens has always acted on his fans: vital, unbowed, powerful, unmistakable, authentic. And so he was allowed to die, upright and dignified. The funeral of the great composer, pianist and singer is scheduled for mid-January in the immediate family.

The "Helene Fischer Show" with the appearance of Udo Jürgens will be broadcasted on 25.12.2014 at 20.15 on ZDF.
