Tom Wlaschiha: Not only in terms of fashion, he is on clear lines

When it comes to the final season of "Game of Thrones", Tom Wlaschiha (45) wraps himself up in silence. Whether the successful German actor will be seen again in his role of Jaqen H'har, the fans will probably experience only in April. In fashion questions, the 45-year-old is much more talkative. On Thursday, the actor was one of the star guests at the launch party of the first joint sportswear collection by Porsche Design and Puma in Berlin.

Have you already noticed something from the cooperation of Puma and Porsche Design?

Tom Wlaschiha: Both are brands that I already have in my wardrobe and I really like them. I find the cooperation very appealing because the clothes and shoes exude a sporty elegance that is practical in everyday life and still beautiful. I'm especially looking forward to the sneakers collection, for which one or the other pair will definitely make room in my shoe cabinet.

Do you personally dress your own sporty or classic elegant? How would you describe your fashion style?

Wlaschiha: Of course that depends entirely on the occasion, but I like a certain minimalism and clean lines, not just in fashion. I think clothing should always underline the personality, not cover it up. I enjoy it just as much to wear a perfectly fitting suit or to dress sportily comfortably.

Do you belong to the men who like to go shopping? What was the most expensive thing you have ever done?

Wlaschiha: It would be an exaggeration to say that shopping is my favorite hobby, but if I know exactly what I want and can see carefully, then it's fun too. Especially when I am turning to another city, I also like to be inspired on other days by other fashion influences. For a Burberry suit, in which I have fallen in love, I have ever spent a small four-digit amount.

Do you have a fashion role model? Which star dresses in your opinion particularly well?

Wlaschiha: I do not know how that should work, it depends on the type. Luckily, every human being is only there once, so I do not want to copy anyone.

Thanks to your hit series "Game of Thrones" or, most recently, "The Boat", you know millions of people, are you often approached on the street?

Wlaschiha: Not only on the street, in restaurants, at airports and in the subway (laughs). Honestly, I think it's a nice compliment, because you rarely get any direct feedback as a movie actor. I find it fascinating to see how many people around the world see and love these series. As an actor, who of course also lives on a certain level of awareness, I am therefore very grateful to these productions.

In April the final "GoT" relay finally starts. Will you be seen again as Jaqen H'ghar, can you tell us anything about the latest episodes?

Wlaschiha: In any case, the series finale and the final battle for the Iron Throne will bring many unexpected twists. As far as everything else is concerned, however, a man has to wrap himself up in silence.
