This woman is proud of her "flaw"
As you click through Cassandra Naud's Instagram account, it's hard to imagine that this fun-loving woman suffered so much in the past. A striking birthmark graces her right cheek. No physical impairment, but a mental one.

Her parents always refused surgery. Too large would have been the risk of consequential damage (marked scars, drooping eye area). But Cassandra suffered in her childhood and youth often teasing. She really wanted to have the painting removed. Today, the 22-year-old is happy that her parents have decided against the procedure.

When her agents suggest letting the mole be removed for their applications via Photoshop, she is outraged. Naud even sees the dark spot in her face as an advantage. She told Mail Online: "My birthmark is a huge part of me, it makes me unique and recognizable, which is especially important for my career."
