That's why you should wait a bit longer while making coffee!

Coffee from the running machine is a bad idea!

At first glance, of course, a great Lifehack: When the coffee passes through, you can already pour a cup before, without waiting until the end. Sounds handy, but you should not do that anyway, because you spoil your coffee enjoyment twice:

1. The half-finished coffee tastes too bitter

This is because with a coffee machine (or with any filter coffee) initially heavily concentrated coffee essence runs into the pot, which then gradually with the remaining, hot water to the delicious coffee that your heart desires every morning. If you are now hasty pouring your coffee, you will not have delicious coffee in the cup, but bitter concentrate, which you can make at best enjoyable with extra-milk and sugar. But it will not taste really good. And even after that it does not get better, because ...

2. The rest of the jug is only light coffee water

Is actually logical: The bitter coffee concentrate that you have just poured you, of course, is now missing in the rest of the pot. The hot water from above no longer adds coffee essence to the delicious hot drink. Instead, a small sediment is diluted further until it looks like brownish puddle water - and probably tastes similar.

At this point, you can actually dump everything right away: the coffee in your cup and the rest in the pot. Shame about the good coffee!

So stay patient for a few minutes, and wait until all the water has really passed through the filter. You will then be rewarded with a delicious, hot coffee that is not too bitter and not too thin, but exactly as you like it!
