Sew the glasses case yourself

So that the glasses on the beach, in the sports bag for the pool or in the bicycle basket does not get any scratches on the trip: Sew on an individual glasses case based on the template of DaWanda Designer steffee.

Material:

Cotton fabric (outside) 50cm x 15cm Cotton fabric (inside) 50cm x 15cm AND 15cm x 7cm (for the fastening tape) Volume fleece "Vlieseline H630" 50cm x 15cm matching sewing thread.

Here you can download Part 1 and Part 2 of the template!

First iron the outer fabric onto the Vlieseline. Then place the two pieces of fabric on top right to right and transfer the template to it; poke and cut along the line (a seam allowance of 0.5cm is already included).

Sew together at the outer edges, leaving an opening (see marking). Cut the corners diagonally; turn the whole thing through the opening to the right (works well with a chopstick or brush end, so that the corners are nicely even) and smooth and straight iron.

Embellish the upper part with a decorative stitching that also closes the opening.

For the fastener tape, iron the long sides of the piece of fabric (15cm x 7cm) inwards; Fold in the middle, iron again and sew together at the edges.

Sew the tape about 3cm below the edge on the right and left side of the fabric, cut off any excess tape.

Fold the fabric and sew together at the edges; Turn right again: ready!

Here are the instructions for the bag!
