Nice pouf

Imitation is easier than you think. DaWanda Jewelery Judith from the shop All JuNied shows how it works.

You need this:

  • Filling material: Styrofoam balls, available at the hardware store
  • Fabric, non-stretchy and resistant
  • Paper sheet (baking paper)
  • scissors
  • sewing machine

That's how it's done:

Step 1:

Draw the cut, consisting of a circle and a rectangle, on a sheet of paper. Then simply cut and transfer to the fabric.

Circle: 47cm diameter (seam allowance of 0.5cm is included)

Rectangle: 148 cm long and 36 cm wide (seam allowance of 2cm for the short sides and 0.5cm for the long sides included)

Step 2:

Now the sewing machine is used. First, sew the two short sides together on the left. In the middle, leave one piece open to fill the beanbag later. Then the circles are sewn up and down. For all seams, it is recommended to attach a double seam to give the beanbag more stability. Now put the whole thing over so that the outside is inside now.

Step 3:

Finally, fill the beanbag and close the opening. Finished!
