Karl Lagerfeld launches engagement ring collection
So far, Karl Lagerfeld has remained in the minds of the crowd, above all because of his beautiful fashion and extravagant style. But the German designer, who lives in Paris, has now expanded his business model. Together with the jeweler Frederick Goldmann, he has designed three lines for his first engagement ring collection: The first line, according to his own statement, should bear the typical Lagerfeld signature and be classically elegant. The second, on the other hand, includes models that are more modern and contain clear and geometric shapes. The third and final collection will be inspired by the curves and arches of Parisian architecture.
The rings of all three collections are available in either 18k white or yellow gold and platinum finishes. Therefore, the beautiful pieces are not particularly affordable. The cheapest model is 1000 dollars (about 880 euros), the most expensive copy at $ 10,000 (about 8800 euros).
"I've never designed a ring for this occasion, so it was kind of a challenge," the 82-year-old said in an official statement. "The rings should express something that concerns the heart and real feelings. They are meant to symbolize and signify a genuine desire to become engaged. They should be elegant, but not pretentious. "

All fans of the designer must be strong now. The jewelery by Karl Lagerfeld will only be available from the jeweler Frederick Goldman, who worked on the collection.
