In short, the new mini-fashion

It's probably the hottest comeback of the year: The mini-rock is back. It was invented by the British fashion designer Mary Quant in the 60s, and then there was great excitement about the new look. And for the summer of 2007, the most important fashion rule is: the shorter the better!

The fashion designers from Milan to Paris are in agreement: No matter if it's sexy, romantic, A-shape or figure-hugging Etui style - now leg is shown neatly. In moderation this means: the garment ends at least ten centimeters above the knee. And that does not just apply to mini skirts, but also to dresses and shorts. In terms of design, the little ones also come out big. Almost everything is allowed for the patterns. Trendy: 60s look, folklore designs, bright colors and metallic tones. The fabrics are flowing, light and comfortable, such as netting, denim, linen or cotton.

What suits the current mini-fashion? High-heels or ankle boots look very sexy and elegant. That stretches the legs. But also ballerinas round off short skirts or pants optimally. You do not want to show too much leg? If you do not like it that way, you can combine your mini outfit with leggings in the cool 80s style or wear tube jeans under mini dresses. Hip-seat belts are also a great mini accessory.

And that's not all. The mini is a true quick-change artist: was the tight skirt earlier than slightly wicked, he has now become socially acceptable. In elegant mini dresses or glamorous shorts made of fine materials and simple designs plus matching blazer, you can look at parties as well as in the office.

If you want to bring the men's hearts so into raptures, then dare to approach the cheeky mini-look. We show you the most beautiful models of summer.
