How self-esteem can change your life

Self-awareness seminars, body language training, career coaching and co ... they all have one thing in common: they can only be fruitful for people with self-esteem. Because who does not pay attention to himself will never trust himself. And those who do not trust themselves unconsciously always express this with their bodies. Decisions rarely occur in people with a lack of self-esteem in their own favor. That is not conducive to the career? Coaching or not.

Self esteem? What's that supposed to be?

While self-confidence in the media is celebrated as non plus ultra, self-esteem tends to receive less attention. It is the basis of all satisfaction. Self esteem means being mindful, respecting, and accepting oneself as one is. In the second step, self-esteem also means being careful. Every no to others can be a yes to oneself. Any unpopular decision can still be for your benefit. And every one of your sensitivities is justified, if not always right. To always involve oneself in the decisions of life sounds more natural than it is. When self-esteem is lacking, that's just too rare.

Shut up, you inner critic

By the way, you can learn self-esteem. The biggest enemy: your inner critic. He starts his sentences with "you should" and "you must", tells you everything over and over again what the outside world has ever accused you and puts all these allegations into new situations. But the inner critic is a complete idiot - to say it nice. He has an IQ of 10 or less and opens his mouth, even if he was not asked. He is a really bad consultant. Really, extremely miserable, but a marketing genius. Although nobody likes him and he has absolutely nothing on the box, he is nevertheless the most booked consultant in the world. It would not be that hard to replace him with our inner best friend. They also complain to us, if need be. But polite and respectful. And that is what it is about.

Ten sentences to silence your inner critic and thus show more self-esteem:

1. Funny, my mother always said that. Is long outdated.

2. Interesting opinion, but not mine.

3. How rude of you! Can one say that also nicer?

4. Ha, where did you get the crap from? From my father? I am next generation, baby!

5. Where is the bus with the people who are interested in your opinion?

6. May be that you are right, but nobody is perfect. Not even me. Crazy, but true.

7. You can only complain again after two compliments! Oh, you prefer to be silent? Good as well!

8. I love you too, you Spacko!

9. If only you were smarter, I would have asked for your opinion.

10th Another such a thing and I terminate the brain-WG. But ... Is actually long overdue ... so OUT !!!!
