Handicraft tip: flower dreams

For the handbag in everyday life or the suitcase when traveling: With the small cosmetic bag by DaWanda designer trendiris you have your make-up always ready.

Material:

Outer fabric: 21 cm x 29 cm Lining: 21cm x 34 cm Zipper 18 cm

For the food, a thinner oilcloth has been chosen. All ingredients are available in every well-stocked department store.

Cut 2 pieces of fabric each. For the lining: 21cm x 34 cm and the outer fabric: 21 cm x 29 cm. Sew both parts left to left along with 1cm seam allowance.

Turn the fabric to the right side and make a small stitch from the right. Lay the piece flat and distribute the looking out lining on both sides. Tightly place the resulting edge and secure with pins.

Lay your open zipper under this outer edge so flat that just the "teeth" are visible. Use the zipper foot of your sewing machine to sew the left side of the zipper. Just before the lower end, close the zipper and continue sewing. At the bottom, continue to sew on the other side, turn, and then sew up the second side.

Lay the sewing piece flat from the left side of the fabric and place the zipper in the middle. Topstitch the open edges on the right and left (with the zipper open). Cover edges with the zigzag stitch of the sewing machine. Turn the bag to the right. Finished!
