#Gerwomany - this hashtag makes us STRONG!

A recent proof that such prejudices are absolute bullshit: #gerwomany. For several weeks, women have been posting photos of themselves in a unique pose on their Instagram accounts under this hashtag: Index finger and middle finger crossed? read: I'm going to vote!
The action: influencers and Schneeballgedöns
Meanwhile, the campaign already support numerous celebrities and influencers: From Lena Meyer-Landruth via Johanna Klum to Caroline Daur. All have given their word by post to vote on September 24th.

Posting to #gerwomany also tags other people who motivate them to support and naturally vote for the campaign. Snowball fuss!
Background: Women to the urn!
For 99 years, women in Germany have the right to vote? and in every bloody election, men's turnout was higher than women's turnout.
In 2013, it was already extremely tight with only 0.5 percentage points. But: HOW can it please please, that the participation of women was NEVER as high as that of men? Not a single time ?!
Empowering is always good!
Of course, #gerwomany is not about women outnumbering men. Only it is bad enough anyway that the proportion of women politicians in the next Bundestag is likely to decline. Since a little girl power and swearing among voters yes not hurt ...?!
We think this action is cool! Because it is important that ALL of us (no matter what sex!) Strengthen our democracy and exercise our voting rights.
And even though "go-voting campaigns" can be quite annoying - #gerwomany is definitely one of the most charming motivational campaigns for the Bundestag election that we know about.
So: 24. September 2017! Do we have a date? #gerwomany
