Game of Thrones: Fans get an encore after the final

The last episode of Game of Thrones will be on May 19th. But the fans do not have to say goodbye. The broadcaster HBO has now announced, according to US media reports, that one week after the finale of the hit series still a "behind-the-scenes" documentary will be broadcast. The behind-the-scenes look at the final eighth season will take two hours.

HBO promises a "personal account" of the "Game of Thrones" production. Crew and actors are to be seen, how they fight with extreme weather conditions, tight schedules and the greed of the fans for spoilers, it is in advance over the documentation. This is a "funny, heartbreaking story" about the "bittersweet joys" that come with having to "create a world - and then say goodbye".

Sky will present the eighth and final season of "Game of Thrones" as of April 14 (at night on April 15) in parallel with the US broadcast.
